BIOGRAPHY
CHRISTOPHER L. BRYANT (PRESIDENT):
Mr. Bryant serves as President and CEO of YnotLearn, a Va Beach
based eLearning firm specializing in web-based tools for learning
management, content creation and assessments. YnotLearn’s
products are in use in 6 countries and have been implemented by
more than twenty companies including Boeing, AMC Theatres, Southern
Company, and Jim Beam Brands. Mr. Bryant has over sixteen years
of progressive experience in all phases and levels of information
systems development and implementation. Additionally, he possesses
14 years of general management experience, eight of which included
direct profit and loss responsibility. Prior to co-founding YNL
in March 2000, Mr. Bryant spent seven years with Coastal Training
Technologies, a leading provider of off-the-shelf corporate training
programs with over 2,000 training products. He served as Administrative
Director of the Clarity Multimedia Division, a division that he
launched and managed to a $7 million revenue / 40 employee operation.
Under his leadership, the Clarity Division published over 100 interactive,
multimedia titles for delivery on CD-ROM and the Internet, and developed
software tools for training management, multimedia authoring, and
courseware editing.
Mr. Bryant previously worked
for Sentara Enterprises, a multi-faceted regional healthcare company.
At Sentara he served as a Systems Manager with responsibility for
the management of a programming and implementation team of six professionals
charged with building systems supporting over 900 employees. Concurrently,
he served as Director of Operations for Sentara’s 75-employee
ground ambulance operation. Mr. Bryant also previously worked for
Tidewater Psychiatric (a division of National Medical Enterprises)
and Union Camp in various capacities in their respective information
technology groups. Mr. Bryant holds a B.S. in Business Administration
from Old Dominion University. He has spoken at various conferences
in the U.S. and Europe addressing the issues and challenges of eLearning,
including eLearning Europe, ASTD, WUTAB, EICA, TMA, OPM, ASSE, and
others. He lives in Virginia Beach with his wife, Eileen, and their
four children.
