BIOGRAPHY
Bio:
Ed Sykes, co-founder of The Sykes Group, has been motivating and improving
people's lives as a trainer, speaker, coach and author for over twenty-two
years. Over this time, he has challenged over 25,000 students in the
United States, Europe, Asia and the Middle East to become better employees,
business owners, and community leaders. Some of the clients who have
taken advantage of his knowledge are JPMorganChase, Hershey Chocolate,
Merck, U.S. Navy, Cendant, and the Traveler's Group.
He, along with co-founder Joy Fisher-Sykes, co-hosted the sold out
the Women Empowerment Conference, "Upward Bound Women: Unity
and Power," at the Virginia Beach Higher Education Center in
September 2003. The conference provided a venue for professional women
to learn about stress reduction, financial, communication, health,
life balance, and entrepreneurial skills.
Ed, has also been recognized by Toastmasters International as Best
Speaker in Virginia (1997, 1999, 2001).
