BIOGRAPHY

David Hartt, M.Ed., CPT

Lieutenant Commander David Hartt is the Section Chief, U.S. Coast Guard Atlantic Area Force Training, where he is responsible for meeting the operational training needs for over 30,000 Coast Guard personnel. He is one of the Coast Guard’s early e-learning champions and the lead for many of the Coast Guard’s most successful technology based training initiatives. LCDR Hartt holds a masters degree in Instructional Technology and is a Certified Performance Technologist (CPT). He is the President-Elect for the Federal Government Distance Learning Association (FGDLA), is an active member of the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD), and the International Society for Performance Improvement (ISPI).
