Using Personality Self-Assessment Inventories: Tips and Techniques

Personality self-assessment inventories – MBTI, Firo-B, SDI, Kerisey, DiSC, and others – are a staple of team building, career development and leadership development programs. The first half of this guided discussion will explore the pros and cons of using these instruments in our practices, as well how to maximize their positive impact and minimize their downsides. For the second half of the discussion, the speakers will present a specific concept and tool, the Whole Brain Model and Hermann Brain Dominance Inventory (HBDI), for participants to experience and critique.
