Teams: A Dead Concept or The Future of Organizations?
Dr. Helene Uhlfelder is high energy,
results-oriented and has thirty years of experience as a leader,
manager, consultant, author, and speaker in organizational performance
improvement and large-scale systems change.
Her focus has been on assisting Fortune 500 and midsize companies
achieve business results through strategy development and deployment,
organization design, performance measurement and management, leadership
development and coaching, and integrated change efforts. She has
led organizations to understand and apply successful implementation
methodologies that combine strategy, process transformation, technology,
and people systems. Her experience and knowledge cross manufacturing,
government, service environments, information-based organizations,
non-profits, and corporate functions.
While at the Miller Howard
Group she co-wrote three books: Advanced Team Skills, Change Management:
Creating the Dynamic Organization Through Whole System Architecture,
and The Leader’s Guide to Change Management: Creating and
Sustaining A Dynamic Organization. She has designed and taught courses
for internal consultants, leadership teams, and all levels of employees.
Her articles have appeared in multiple journals, and she has been
an invited speaker at local and national conferences. She currently
writes a column for Inside Business.
She is a member of the American
Psychological Association, American Management Association, and
American Compensation Association.
