Mark S. Fulton — Leadership
Coach
Mark S. Fulton is a leadership coach,
business columnist and professional speaker with more than 25 years
of experience in education, broadcasting, management and marketing.
He is a skilled communicator who has worked as a print journalist,
marketing and training director, high school principal, television
reporter, radio news director and talk show host and English teacher.
Fulton is a respected business coach
who helps business owners, professionals and entrepreneurs become
effective leaders through powerful relationships with their key
people. His coaching practice, CoachCare, works with individuals
and groups, providing them with a variety of training, motivational
and personal development services. He is a member of the International
Association of Certified Coaches, a worldwide community of coaches
dedicated to building, supporting and preserving the integrity of
the coaching profession.
Fulton is a featured columnist for
Inside Business, a weekly business periodical published
in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia. His writing experience also
encompasses a wide variety of business writing genres, including
television infomercial and spot commercial scripts, educational
and training video scripts, advertising copy, news releases, feature
articles and speeches.
Prior to launching his business-coaching
career, Fulton was the director of sales and marketing for Educational
Products, a for-profit division of the Christian Broadcasting Network
(CBN) of Virginia Beach, Virginia. In that position, he developed
and directed the organization’s sales and marketing programs
and directed its order processing, fulfillment, and customer service
departments. His duties included conceiving and executing marketing
campaigns for new products and developing advertising concepts for
existing products.
From 1985 to 1990 Fulton served as an area manager and then as the
national training director for CBN. He wrote and implemented a divisional
training program that includes instructional manuals and video presentations.
He also supervised the writing of informational publications that
are distributed internationally by CBN.
Before that, Fulton spent more than 10 years in the fields of education
and broadcasting. He was a teacher and high school principal, radio
news director and talk show host and TV news reporter and anchorman.
