Job Description:

• Analyze, plan, write, edit, revise, and produce computer-based training (CBT) and Web-based training (WBT) using word processing, graphics, multimedia development (digital video and audio), and authoring software applications, in compliance with military and commercial standards and specifications.
• Research information through interviews, reading, and hands-on testing of equipment or software to be documented.
• For CBT/WBT, prepare curriculum and training materials.
• Develop terminal and enabling objectives, general and detailed course outlines and flowcharts.
• Plan structure of CBT course.
• Create, edit, and revise design specifications (rules and guidelines for standards and conventions).
• Create screen, tutorial (including all explanations and procedures), practice question/exercise, test question/exercise templates.
• Design structure and write storyboards for tutorial, practice question/exercise, test question/exercise, and ancillary materials such as hypertext, hypermedia, and glossary.
• Create or acquire graphics, sound clips, video clips, and other media to be incorporated.
• Design and program CBT using multimedia software.
