Position: Manager of Training and Development
Location: Virginia Beach, VA
Job Description:
We are STIHL Incorporated, the world's best selling brand of chain

technology with old-world craftsmanship. We currently have an opportunity
available for a Manager of Training and Development in our Human
Resources Department.
This position is responsible for building employee competencies
throughout the organization.
Responsibilities include:
- Developing, implementing, and administering organization-wide
training and development programs to include needs assessments,
gap
analysis, succession planning, and career counseling.
- Developing and implementing programs, as well as corporate
orientation and administration of apprenticeship programs.
- Measuring and reporting the effectiveness of training events
and
development programs.
- Participating in communications programs that may include newsletter
and policy development.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Requirements for this position:
- Four year college degree in a related discipline.
- Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc.)
- Five years of Training experience in a Manufacturing environment.
